To prevent the spread of COVID-19 (novel Coronavirus), the City of San Rafael closed community centers to walk-in service. We are currently offering summer classes and camps while strictly adhering to Marin County health guidelines.  For additional updates, please visit the City’s website.

COVID-19 Service Modifications

During the current public health crisis, the City of San Rafael remains committed to protecting the health and safety of community members and employees, while also striving to deliver public services to the greatest extent possible.

We are adapting and developing programs based on guidelines from the County Public Health Officer, which are updated regularly. We are working to keep our program offerings up-to-date and to safely fit the needs of our community.

Register now for in-person youth classes or if you're a group looking to host recreation classes outdoors, check out our Outdoor Space Rentals Program.  Click the links below to see more information.

Terra Linda Community Pool is open with limited programming  and on a reservation-basis only. Please visit our pools page for more information.

We offer a variety of classes that will help your children build their skills, improve focus and gain confidence.

Try your hand at Japanese flower arranging, learn ceramics or take up Pilates. From sports leagues to tennis lessons, we have a program for you.

You can also check out our Virtual Recreation Center, which provides fun and educational activities at home.
